PROGRAMME GUIDE

In Girlguiding we have 6 themes designed to target skills to develop.

within each theme, there are a number of activities girls can do, which are divided up into 3 main elements. These are the same for every section.

Skill Builder Badges- these can be worked on in your daughter's unit meetings to help her develop core abilities for the modern world.

Interest Badges- these are designed to be completed independently outside of the unit meeting.

Unit Meeting Activities- these are managed by your daughter's leaders in regular meetings through set activities.

  • 1 Skill Builder + 1 Interest Badge + a certain number of unit meeting hours (3 for Rainbows, 4 for Brownies and 5 for Guides and Rangers) will achieve a Theme Award Badge,

  • 2 Theme Awards achieve a Bronze Award

  • 4 Theme Awards achieve a Silver Award and

  • 6 Theme Awards achieve a Gold Award
